Here at Sliced Bread we are really enjoying these UPisodes from the forthcoming Pixar feature movie ‘UP’. I’ve said before this movie looks like it could be a ‘hit’ or a ‘miss’, but these little snippets are a great way for potential audiences to start to ‘bond’ with the characters. Click image to view.

Jessica Barnes from Cinematical says (be warned she confesses to have never watched a Pixar movie from start to finish):
The film will mark Pixar’s 10th animated feature film, and the story has been compared to a re-telling of Don Quixote. It centers on a man in his late 70′s who joins up with a befuddled park ranger for some sort of adventure. The official description from Pixar describes our hero as the kind of guy who ‘travels the globe, fights beasts and villains, and eats dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon’ — aww, I’m sold on the cuteness already. But then again, I guess I’m not the best judge when it comes to Pixar.

I really have no clue about UP – I know that one of our non-Quint AICN agents sat with the director of this… I believe it was Mr Beaks – but I could be confused, because I’m getting old. I really am. But not as old as the guy on the front porch you’ll be seeing shortly. Unless you wait to see it when we repost with an Apple HD version – which I have to believe is coming shortly. Here ya go – the latest PIXAR teaser…
